New Update Released for Pokemon Go

Latest update to augmented-reality mobile game brings back a variation of Pokemon tracking among other bug fixes.

A new update hits Pokemon Go today as tracking is reintroduced to the fold along with various bug fixes throughout the mobile game.

The new update, patch level 1.3.0, has most notably revived a method of tracking nearby Pokemon. With the broken "three-step" feature being removed last week to extreme backlash, Niantic have implemented a new feature that highlights Pokemon in close proximity, now labeled Sightings, as well as showing you the Pokemon that can be seen at a nearby Poke Stop.

While it's an effort by the developer, the implemented method may still be a far cry from the proper tracking system players were hoping for. One {url=https://www.nextgenupdate.com/games/pokemon-go/articles/91}suggested method[/url] flying around the internet involved a compass to show the general direction with tiers labeling the distance.

{img=pokemon-a.jpg}This was the preferred method of tracking among the internet, maybe it will come to fruition in a later update.{/img}

Luckily, the full patch notes did reveal that different variations of the tracking system will be tested.

The full patch notes can be seen below:{br}{br}
