Hey folks! I'm gamester494, and I'm here today to share a story and encourage you to check out the clan I represent. I'll give you the good stuff first though, don't worry!

UAF is a PC ONLY gaming clan. We're a military sim clan (it's not exact, but military organization plays an obvious role in the clan's structure) that's been around for 10 years, and we've got a pretty good system by now. We support 3 games at this moment in time, our flagship game being Battlefield 3. We're currently looking for more members, just like you!

What We're Looking For:
•Maturity - there is NO age restriction, as long as you're reasonably mature, we'll be happy to have you
•Activity on the forums and in-game
•Willingness to follow the rules - we're a family-friendly clan, so there are a fair bit of rules to keep it that way
•NO minimum KDR, SPM or WLR - we just want to have fun!
What to Expect:

A bit like the real military, joining is a lot of "hurry up and wait," but with less of each. Once you register on the forums, read over the material you're asked to read, and submit your application, someone will look over it and approve or reject it. If you're approved, you'll be placed into the Academy, which is UAF's equivalent to basic training. Here, you'll learn about what it means to be a member of the clan and what you'll be responsible for doing as a full member. In order to "graduate" you'll be responsible for accomplishing several tasks that vary from division to division. Once you graduate from the Academy, you'll be placed into a Squad. Here, you'll be thrust into the fullness of what UAF has to offer. You'll participate in weekly squad practice, earn promotions and awards, and have the ability to apply for Departments, where you can use your skills to improve the clan as a whole.
