It feels like it's been forever since Battlefield 4 developer DICE LA first told the public about their intention to bring the Test Environment to consoles following the signs of success with it's launch on PC.

According to some of the recent updates from the studio, developers aim to have it going on Xbox one by early next week, on July 6. A few requirements must be met in order to participate though. Owners of battlefield 4 who are subscribed to the Premium Service and are members of the Xbox One Preview Program will be invited to download it.

DIVE LA says that updates on the Xbox One CTE will be less frequent than that of the PC, but participants will still have access to the test and prototypes, including Battlefield 4's Community Map Projecy as well as three maps from the Night Operations Project.

If you're not automatically selected, the studio will be increasing the participant amount as the program continues.
