dude Lol , i have a problem , I checked on battlelog and I see the gun is under Assault class and I have it unlocked (no shit I'm lvl 50). But I can't find it while I'm in game.

I'm on ps3 any thoughts?

Within the Assult class, the default first equipment is the medic kit. The M26 MASS/FRAG/DART/etc is found under that equipment slot. It is not a primary or secondary weapon. If you have ever used the M320, the M26 can be found on the same place. You should also note you need to unlock the Dart by working your way up with the Mass, then the Frag, then you unlock the dart.

I understand the USAS with frag rounds before the patch was really unfair, but you're talking about shotguns in general? Shotguns are in every shooter and they are in the game to use, so why wouldn't someone use them? I think they are a hell of a lot of fun.

Yes, I'm talking about them in General... Because I just want to play with normal guns like all of my Teammates, but then when the enemy guys see they're loosing with 10 points of difference in Team Deathmatch they change all to shotguns... I swear, ALL. That's annoying to use the benefit for 1 Shot killing...

A shotgun is close range only though. That same guy who killed you will lose every fight beyond 15m. He's really limited. Play the perimeter when that happens, don't be as aggressive. Adapt to your kit and the situation.

the m26 dart has always been great. i haven't yet tried it since the patch but it was always great b4 the patch

You know what I've noticed? PC People have more consistency regarding shotgun damage, especially the 870 MCS. I see lots of people long ranging with the 870 in PC and when I try to do that, I get BS. I mean seriously, in PC if you get at last half the pellets on your target they at least take 55-65+ damage and in Console they just get tickled with 25%. Wish I had a good gaming PC, PC > Console.
