Just FTP it... it'll take long but you can go outside or do something while you wait.

i had system auto turn off too but the ps3 shut down anyway at 80% with filezilla.

The thing you have to do is:
- Extract your pkg on your usb using pkgviewer
- On multiman put the bo3 folder (NPEB02266) on hdd0/game
- Install the 1.01 update (2.2gb)
- Install fix and you will have your game in the xmb

File transfer with an Ethernet cable, it's 10 times faster.

Split pkg. Copy to a folder on usb. Copy that FOLDER to PS3 HDD. Once merged, move the merged pkg into Packages directory on PS3. Install. That's what I did, since FTP disconnected after it got 1GB out of 4 transferred.

Download psnstuff v3. (Google it) Open it and go to splitter. Now drag the pkg into the psn icon and Wait until Its done. Now put both 66000 files into ur usb and put the usb into ur ps3 . Start multiman and go to install packagefiles in multiman install the 66000 files. After that close multiman and go to ur normal install package files folder and install it
