It's as simple as using a tool that has a force host option and clicking "Force Host" If you mean how do you develop or find the stuff to force host that will be more of a then you will need a more in depth knowledge of programming and being good at finding adresses.

Then that means they either did not actually program that function in or it does not work properly. It can also be due to incorrect/outdated addresses as well.
