Yeah it will, depends if the enemy doesn't watch the killcams. If they watch it, the spawns will mess up. Also, you might get hitmarkers since the health is normal, but even if you use this, you know where they will respawn so its better to know map control :p

This is for FFA. Not any other game mode. So you wouldn't be able to use these traps with a full party on objective gamemodes.
