(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So, i've been getting really into GSC modding with black ops 2, and no, this is not pertaining to GSC (well, maybe?). As of a few days ago, i injected my menu as normal, and keep in mind this is becoming quite large (738KB compiled as of now), and i proceeded to exit the custom games menu. As i did i froze and decided that it was just another random freeze. I then reset, did everything you do to get back on, then i tried to go into custom games and froze instantly. I was confused so i tried a few more times and it seems as if every time i try to load the director (the map selection menu) in zombies i freeze.

I have determined that it involves the update data and the dlcs as when i delete them the director works again. Now every time i install all 5 dlcs this happens, and otherwise not. And i know what you are thinking, it isn't the DLC because previous to this (and in advance as i explain in a minute) it was not an issue. So eventually i tampered with it enough to just doing a format of the system. I install all DLC, bo2, etc and everything was working fine for a bit. Then within a few games the same problem came back up.

So here is my question: Is the freezing when loading the director a know issue? Is it related to the GSC? Any information related to this would be appreciated as it is disheartening to be unable to finish the menu i have spent months on. *UPDATE: So i have been removing specific EDATS for the DLC and have found a temporary fix by removing specific DLCS. I have a theory that the DLC is being corrupted by a function used in my GSC menu, i am making a wild guess, but to be honest this is extremely interesting; A freeze wall inflicted by a function ? Or maybe overwritten by the massive file. I will continue research, and for anyone laughing at my inexperience with this specific matter i too am laughing as i write, some of it makes no sense haha. (And no, its not the DLC. It was never affected until i used this GSC menu. I promise, if it was i would not come to NGU for help over deleting game data :P)
*UPDATE 2: Figured out that the Buried DLC is the issue, but it has always worked before. Any ideas?

Not to sure about this try clearing the game cache data in multiman? Has worked for me when i freeze on starting private match. Get to Clear Cache by going to settings and its the 3rd option down! Winky Winky

Yes. The same fix and dlc worked fine for almost a year, this problem developed with the GSC. Im under the assumption that the GSC is interfering with on of the DLCs in the director which is throwing the Text_SLB_miss. But that is all theory, and im pretty much talking from no knowledge on that specific area.

*UPDATE: So i have been removing specific EDATS for the DLC and have found a temporary fix by removing specific DLCS. I have a theory that the DLC is being corrupted by a function used in my GSC menu, i am making a wild guess, but to be honest this is extremely interesting; A freeze wall inflicted by a function ? Or maybe overwritten by the massive file. I will continue research, and for anyone laughing at my inexperience with this specific matter i too am laughing as i write, some of it makes no sense haha. (And no, its not the DLC. It was never affected until i used this GSC menu. I promise, if it was i would not come to NGU for help over deleting game data :P)
*UPDATE 2: Figured out that the Buried DLC is the issue, but it has always worked before. Any ideas?

Then within a few games the same problem came back up.

So here is my question: Is the freezing when loading the director a know issue? Is it related to the GSC? Any information related to this would be appreciated as it is disheartening to be unable to finish the menu i have spent months on. You're trying to inject 738kb into memory. That's the problem. Dynamic v3 is like around 200-300kb for a compiled script file, and it's hit the limit for GSC. You're not freezing because of a function, you're freezing because of memory space.

Well i thought so, but i recently deleted the buried DLC and the menu is still functioning. The GSC was functioning properly as well at 600KB. For now ive just removed the buried DLC so i can finish the menu, afterwards i will do research.
