Anyway latest LAG news. There IS artificial LAG on most internet services or buffering at least, but there is something that you can do to improve your connection and it just takes a phonecall to your ISP.

Call them and ask to be placed on a "Gaming profile" my ISP Sky (UK) have just placed me on one called "8ms max delay" it does not cost anything extra and it took them like 5 minutes.

The results are fabulous for me and I would go as far as saying everything else I have said or tried has not helped as much as this. I am no longer lagging at the start of a match and hit detection is way better. I even got a 1mg speed increase by being on this profile. It is AMAZING.

If you call and the customer service person is dumb and doesn't understand you just keep calling, all ISP's can do it just not all CS agents know about it.

Another thing you can do with SKY UK which may or may not help LAG I know some WoW players have done it is flash the firmware and look on the sky forums for custom firmware which give you more options like QoS etc.

It is against SKY T&C's though and you need to know what your doing or you can break your router.

They Said this game is based on ping, my friend who has bt with 80mb can't do shit because his ping is 20+ now I'm virgin 30mb with ping around 8 and I do much better than him and also pull host aot, he also has plus 10 upload while mine is 1.96

this game is just stupid... i have a friend with 100mb internet and lags waaaay more than me and mine is just 30mb. say what you want its not only the ISP, this game is fucked up bad

His connection is good enough. You don't need 20- ping to do well.

I usually get Host in all Games and my Ping:9 Download 3.50 Upload .90 = UVERSE Internet

I think I always get Host since I live like 1 block away from at&t facility

Do they have this for at&t Uverse Internet? I tried searching around and couldn't find anything

Assume so its just settings they apply to your account, I think it just allows gaming traffic through faster.

Also if your pulling host a lot turn upnp off on router and if you have forwarded ports delete those rules. You wont get host if your nat is moderate.

Really? Oh so that's why I keep noticing that I'm usually host now... I fixed my router settings a couple days ago and now I have open nat.
