According to some of the pointers left by Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 developer Treyarch, Call of Duty Zombies fans might get the first look at what Zombies developers have in mind for the studio's next big shooter during 2015's Comic-Con in San Diego.

The company's official Twitter account tweeted an image last week with the caption, "It's time to start writing the chapter..."



The date, July 9, which is a Thursday, marks the first day of San Diego Comic-Con 2015, so you should look out for an official announcement in the near future.

Black Ops 3's Zombies mode was previously teased only briefly during the title's reveal trailer. In interviews, studio head Mark Lamia promised the fans the most ambitious Zombies experience thus far, but couldn't talk into specific details.
