What happens if you are reviving someone before he gets you?

i was thinking the same thing. because the gun glitch works because when you revive your character gets out the Syrette thingy. so maybe when the thief round starts if your friend gets downed and you try to revive him the thief should steal your Syrette. but you have infinite anyway so that might be a way not
to lose your guns. its worth trying.

what about holding grenade when he trys to steal, or like cerj said, syrette. or drink out of a machine during him about to steal. hold the claymores - he'll steal claymores proberly xD.

i dunno if u can avoid him but u can kill him b4 he takes every1s guns and u get them back

The thief won't show up unless you turn on the power and I'm pretty sure you have to be downstairs (as in not in the starting room) for him to spawn.

Anyway, the easiest way to get the trophy is to upgrade your Colt 1911 and wait on the railing for him to spawn. As soon as you see the red myst (whatever you call it) start bombing it with your upgraded colts and he will go down in a few hits. You don't need for him to be in "human" shape to kill him.

if u turn the power on no matter were ur at he will come also heads up dont hold clamors out when he comes and gets u when i did it it took my clamors my knife and one of my guns u can get in glitches so he cant get u and hill just stand and look at u like ur crazy and then u just kill him!

Easiest way to kill him.... Pack-a-Punched Winter's Howl. Unload on him like crazy. I only ever had him steal one of our guns while using this strategy :y:.
