The 1.02 server on the PS3 has now been shut down. In other words, the prestige hack is dead. No more of it. No bypassing, no more JB for it, no more anything as far as I'm concerned. They shut down the very server that lets you even do the prestige hack-unless someone finds a way to do the prestige hack after the 1.03 patch, then the prestige hack is dead and remaining dead till such has been aquired.

This thread is not meant for flaming, but simply to show/give understanding of the current situation we are facing.

I'de also like to add, in my opinion it is an extremely likely chance members of Treyarch have accounts on this site. I have never in my life seen hotfixes kill glitches and methods of hacking within hours of posting it, in my life. It is simply irrational to say the least.

They have accounts on here; if we ever plan on hacking black ops, posting it upfront to the public(even premiums) is what's getting it patched. We need to find a way to keep the methods a secret, or else the existence of black ops hacking is nearing dawn guys. =(

EDIT: There is still a potential of the hack to be done!

Everyone, don't bother him about his shop. He's trying to test out his new way to do the hack. If you would like to contribute to him, don't spam him about his prestige hacking service.

EDIT: I have just discovered, all sony did was redirect the 1.02 server to an earlier hotfix of that patch. It is suppose to be on 49.14.xx.xx(don't know the exact numbers), but it's on an earlier one now. ie. 49.13.xx.xx. (the "dead server")

In reality the only thing that needs to be done is redirect the ip traffic to go to the right hotfix.
