I love people trying to act all badass cause they have some rep power.
The reason you cant mod the default.self is because of the security, on the debug, there wasnt much security and you could open it with IDA.
Treyarch saw that people were attempting to mod the debug default.self and stopped releasing them to the public.
If you dont believe me, ask Jeffadkins, he modded the default.self, but treyarch released a newer patch without a debug, meaning he couldnt mod it.
And btw, A self is a secure executable file.
