Here is the tutorial, I found this on s7 but this is my own tutorial that I wrote, credits to the guy on s7 for finding it.
- Go into a private match and invite a friend.
- Change the game mode to Search & Destroy (or whatever you want) and edit the game settings to the settings you want (I didn't get any custom settings to work in the game)
- Click switch lobby then hover over combat training (don't click it yet)
- Click combat training, then up and then X/A (to start game) THIS MUST BE DONE QUICKLY
- As soon as the game starts end it.
- If you have done it correctly then the person in the lobby will have the [3arc] clan tag and a different name (probally a random friend) If not then repeat from step 1.
- You and your friend must stay in the lobby until the friend gets kicked out.
- Once he gets kicked out he will be in a combat training lobby with the game mode you selected.
- Get the friend to change the settings so it's 2 friends vs 8 bots and then get the friend to start the game.
- Enjoy
NEW METHOD (eaiser):

- While it's loading, dashboard (quit game) and then your friend will be in a combat training with the game mode as SnD
NOTE: I haven't got any of the custom settings to work yet (for example, unlimited lives) so please have a play around and see if you can get them to work
