I'm looking to spent about £200 at most. I was looking at getting the Turtle Beach Px5's but there is no release date and I could do with a new set pretty sharpish. So NGU, enlighten me. What is the best headset money can buy?

edit: would be nice if they worked on both consoles, but I don't think any headsets do that...

the normal PS3 one or a cheaper... n then wait for the new turtle.... if you want speaker sur your TV speaker or plug your PC speakers into your TV.....

If your looking at £200 at the most I swear you can get Astro A40's I think they are priced at £195 wired. If your interested try Xboxlime360. There are also plenty of reviews. Im Pretty sure the Astros are compatible with all platforms. However I guess its at the top range of your budget.

I believe the PX21's are compatible with both the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. I've heard some good things about them from friends but I don't own them. Maybe check those out?

Don't think they're surround sound. If I'm going to buy new headphones, might as well get the best I can. Thanks for the suggestion anyway though.

The PX5's really do look the business. I'd certainly be getting them if it wasn't for the fact they can't give me a release date.
