Activision has noted that Call of Duty: Black Ops is the greatest selling game of all time!

During an investor conference, the company's spokesmen said that, "During the first quarter, Call of Duty: Black Ops became the best selling game of all time in dollars across the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC in the United States and Europe and was again the number one game of the quarter."

This combined with the even greater news that the games downloadable content outsold previous highest grossing game's DLC, Modern Warfare 2, by 20%. To even further magnify the games success, Activision stated that the First Strike DLC alone sold better than most games releasing around the same time.

Happens every year with cod MW3 will beat BOPs sales then cod after MW3 will beat mw3

Yet Cod4 will still be the best...

Yea its not surprising, their fan base grows with every passing game.

ya the game is successful bec threyarch makes great trailers. They make the game look like 5x better than it actually turns out to be. But i personally think Black ops is one of my favorite

Black Ops is just eating off IW MW series. Black Ops is an average game by a shitty game maker.

Happens to be the best COD since COD4 too.
