Sort of correct, but the reason why it's green is due to the fact that the hex offsets for the cammos are different in a lan game then they are in a player game. So when the game goes to read the cammo, it's given an unknown cammo which appears green
ahh yess, but the servers also reads the meshing files (via hex) and the meshing is different from lan and player match, the unknown camo part is wrong tho, camo is applied in layer exmpl. mesh 3 on top of mesh 2 on top of mesh 1 and u get the camo, now mesh one for lan may be mesh 2 for player match, so in the prcess of switching it is appling the meshes and the wrong mesh is placed on top so u get a misconfigured camo and it reads as an error message, black ops camo error messagew default is neon green collored with neon yellow "error" (if u have the neon green camo rotate your player and u will start to see the yellow error msg) and that is the full reason
