Um how and what does this do

It's part of the TRP file.
You can also get High res PNGs of the trophies if you wish to extract the PNGs from the TRP file.


Jaeder Nub (I think this is what it is called) can do this for you if you wish to obtain the PNGs from an ALREADY OBTAINED TRP file.

I think their(TRP files) only purpose is to provide the trophy icons and allow Offline users to obtain trophies.

Either way, there is already a PS3 trophy hack that can get most of the trophies fairly easily. Although there are a few that you can't get with the hack, so if this ends up working it could be good.

well this is only for 1 game all the games that are trophie inabled will have this maby editing it can allow the trophie to be unlocked in a different way
