You're going to have to (like normal) load the Error and Prestige Profiles on 1.09 and go into a game with them, and choose a class with both of them. This will "Uncorrupt" them. Exit to XMB and Delete the MW2 Patch.

After doing that, go into MW2 and don't Install the Patch. Go into Multiplayer. Choose Play Online. SIGN IN but then cancel the patch when it asks. Then go to Splitscreen. Load a NON ERROR Profile FIRST. Choose Game Setup. Use PlayStation Unlocks. Let it get your rank and unlocks.

After this is done, Turn OFF PlayStation Unlocks. Go back. Load your "ERROR" profile. Go into Barracks with that, and Prestige. Go back into Splitscreen. Load the "PRESTIGE" profile. Use your PSN Unlocks again. If you did it right, you should see Whatever Prestige Level 70 instead of your PlayStation Unlocks. Go into Barracks and Prestige.

This next part is just to see if it worked. You can also exit to XMB and install the patch again to see if it worked. Go back to the Main Menu. Choose Singleplayer and load a mission. When it's done loading, exit and go back into Multiplayer and choose Splitscreen. Load ANY profile, and then go to Game Setup. PlayStation Unlocks. If you see the correct Prestige, you succeeded.

This is a much shorter tutorial, and you can do it straight from your PS3 and without installing the patch or using Patch Blocker.

Hopefully Prestige Shops will be much faster now.

Note: This STILL doesn't get Hacked Classes to Stick.

Im gonna try it now. One Q: what do you mean with Playstation Unlocks?

It's in Game Setup before you go into game on a Splitscreen lobby. It allows you to use your online stuff offline(although you can't earn XP, but you can still edit your classes ). I found a way to abuse this.
Most prestige tutorials require patch blocker and choosing "Play Online". This doesn't, as Use PlayStation unlocks does the same thing as the "Play Online" menu would do in terms of your rank.

Here's the thing, I just tried to do it, and I think I messed it up because I never did it the way where you start a game.

So I loaded ERROR on Controller 1 and then PRESTIGE on Controller 2, is that how to do it?

Whatever, I did that and then I deleted the patch and tried loading PRESTIGE on Controller 1 and it was corrupted.

Can you write a more in-depth tut? Because ritards like me need DETAILS.

Alright, the first try didn't work.
The second try i'll write here what I did, so you can correct me.

I deleted the 1.09 patch, started MW2 and didn't accept the patch.
Then I go to multiplayer > splitscreen > loaded the non-error profile > game setup > PSN unlocks turned to ON. > Logged in to the Playstation Network (you;ve forgotten this step in your post) to load my online profile stats.

Alright, then i've turned the PSN unlocks off. (my emblems rank etc changes, but I still see my online profile nickname right?). I've changed the offline profile to the errorfile and prestiged. > Then i've changed the offline profile to the normal one. > Turned the PSN unlocks on and signed in @ Playstation Network > Then I see my online profile (including emblems, but ranked @ level70 instead of level14) > I've prestiged with my online profile.

I;ve started a singleplayer mission, and quited it when it was loaded. > Multiplayer > Splitscreen > Loaded a non-hacked profile > Game setup > PSN unlock on > Signed in @ Playstation Network and I see my correct prestige. So now i'm done and able to install the 1.09 patch?

uhm... i can't get my online profile to show up... i turn playstation unlocks on, sign in to psn, then it tells me to update mw2. i cancel. then my online profile should show up...?
