But today I was playing on Scrapyard and managed to get my AC-130 but for some reason my missiles weren't killing anybody despite the fact that I aimed right at the enemy, and they didn't have cold blooded or anything. This is the second time this has happened.

I mean scrapyard is pretty open, and I was launching them right at the A Flag and back in the corners over by the C flag.

I got 2 kills with it before being shot down...On Scrapyard, probably because my missiles weren't hitting people for whatever reason.

So has anyone else ever had their AC-130 miss even though they are clearly hitting people?

you might be hitting buildings or objects that are above the people, without realizing it. Scrapyard has a lot of crap above the map, so maybe that's why? did you use the other guns to be more precise?

Yeah i get this alot if there a whole squad and i shoot the dumpster RIGHT! next to them it doesnt kill them, its ****ing retarded.

haha, I love doing that when ppl use predator missiles! xD I hide at the last second, and the explosion is all around me, yet I dodged it :p

I don't like the AC-130 I have around 900+ kills with it. As soon as I get the emblem its back to the good old chopper gunner or pavelow.

In at least half of matches people shoot down that big ass Chopper Gunner pretty quickly though

I guess people are getting smarter online now-a-days..lol

some times i dont let them reload the ac130 properly and only get a few grenades to shoot and it seams to jam up lol but i think thats my fault
but ive had plenty of fails with the predator missile landing rite next ppl and it doesn't kill them

oh i hate that with the predator missile, when i see someone, and i fired it at them and there is like some ****ing wire or some shit in the sky and my missile hits that! what!

or i hit it right beside them, but they were on the other side of some wimpy ass bucket, and somehow that object protects them? :O

I was on derail today and got an ac130 in my emergency airdrop and yeah, the radius seemed weak as piss to me, was two people running at my care packs and put it so close to them nowhere near any trees or anything and didnt hit either of them with the largest missile.
