(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); If we can convert the mw2 disc to and .iso file, we can edit on the computer right? does this invalidate the checksum? We can reverse this and get a pc copy of the game, and convert the .iso to a .pkg, so that it will run on the ps3.

That doesnt make any sence, because we cant play backups, this wont work? We just have to make THE PATCH into an .iso file...

I highly doubt that'll work..
The iso would be too large to fit on the ps3 drive.. it only support file sizes up to 4GB (FAT32 size limit)

but it won't accept files larger than 4GB as FAT32 (the file system on the hard drive) doesn't support +4GB files..

Go on wikipedia and search FAT32. The FAT32 file system can't handle files >4GB. So if you put the 7.5GB ISO onto your ext hdd with NTFS the PS3 won't recognize it because Sony made the PS3 not recognize NTFS drives >4GB. I have been saying this for about 2 - 3 weeks now... ISO method is dead.
