Hide and Seek brings the classic playground game to Modern Warfare 2.
The rules are simple; One team has 30 seconds to hide.
If anyone of the hiding team can remain hidden until time is up, They win the game.
As the game progresses, powerups are given to spice up the game.

As always, I like to know what people like and dislike,
so please rate this MOD after testing it by using the poll,

- Set at night
- 30 seconds hiding time, during which;
-- Hiders are invisible so they can get into place
-- Seekers can spread out over the map

- (Gametype should be S&)
-- 5 round winlimit
-- Team Switching after every round
-- Bomb planting disabled


- Hiders:
-- Heartbeat sensors without ammo
-- Nightvision toggle
-- Carepackage containing ammo with one minute remaining;
--- Can you make it to the carepackage before the seekers do, and get some revenge?
--- Or will you use it as destraction?

- Seekers:
-- Spawn with silenced beretta tactical knife
-- Upgrade: FAL with Thermal

Pssst: Hiders CAN stab Seekers, but it will take more than one stab, so try at your own risk.

1. Extract the files anywhere on your computer.
2. Run 'LoaderX.exe'
3. Press 'Auto Inject' (at the bottom you will see 'status: Searching for "alterIWnet" window..'
4. Run Modern Warfare 2 (iw4mp.exe) (LoaderX will now say 'status: Sucesfully injected 1 DLL(s)!'
5. Force host. In console type the following commands:
party_hostmigration 0
party_connecttimeout 1
6. Play => Find game => Search and Destroy
7. Have fun!

Use only on S&
Recommended maps:

Remember: Using any sort of hacks or mods can result in a VAC ban.
I suggest not using this with your legit MW2 copy.
I recommend using AlterIWNET instead.
If you do want to use this with the official version of MW2, you need to do the following:
1. Open config(dot)ini
2. change 'alterIWnet' to 'Modern Warfare 2'

Install is still thesame as previous versions, if you new,
download the 'how to install'winrar archive, which has an detailed screenshot
install guide.
I recomend to use Pakscape for adding the files to the iwd's, you can do it with winrar or 7zip to,
but pakscape is just better for this.

Remember to ALWAYS back up your original iwd's, so you when your sick of the textures you can go back to normal.

Custom Camo's And Custom Scopes
how to instal the Camo's
Paste the camo of yor choice in the iw_07.iwd in the main folder. Only paste the 'weapon_camo_arctic.iwi'
in your iw_07.iwd (main folder)(dont add the picture of the camo) and save the iwd. Now when you select for instance the artic camo, you will get the camo of your choice.
If you want coloured weapons, Add all the files (except for the picture) in the 'green' camo to your iw_07.iwd. Then all the weapons which have camo will be colored.

How to install the Scopes
Same thing as the camo's execpt for that you paste the scope of your choice (this is thesame for the the termal scope) in iw_04.iwd, and save.
Again, do not add the picture, just the .iwi file.

-Hiders

Desert Eagle No Ammo

Choose models/props

Hiders have a menu where they can choose a model. The model of themselves will be hidden and only the choosen model displayed. They can kill seekers, just switch to first person and knife them. Hiders can spin their model in both directions fast and slow.

-Seekers

Random primary weapon
Desert Eagle
No Falldamage
Lightweight&Marathon
Stopping power
Sleight of hand

Seekers have to wait 30 seconds for the hiders to hide. After that they must search and find the hiders until the time is up. If 2/3 of the Hiders are dead, they get +30seconds. They are not able to plant the bomb.

-General info

Everyone can display info about their team and toggle First Person/Third person. Turrents are removed. Timelimit is set to 3,5 minutes, winlimit to 6. Teamnames are automatically changed to Hiders and Seekers. If you call airdrop/care package it will always be ammo. Hiders are not displayed on radar. You cant use killstreaks like predator, Harrier, Airstrike etc.. Hiders need 3 knife hits to kill a Seeker. Always switch to first person when knifing! While countdown is running Seekers are frozen and cant see anything, Hiders can run faster.

-How to use

Create a new folder called hidenseek in modern warfare 2/mods/. Put the .iwd file in the new folder, then start the game and launch mod using fs_game mods/hidenseek command through console. If you are already ingame you need to type map_restart also.
