I feel that MW2 is more fun in multiplayer, while BLOPS is more serious. They both have their omgwtfbbq moments, but I like MW2 more because the guns, animations, and looks.

Definitely MW2. Black Ops is good, I mean it follows the COD formula so it really can't be too bad. I have played it quite a bit at my friend's house (refuse to buy it).

I prefer the weapons, perks, attachments, secondaries, graphics, time period and maps of MW2. For Black Ops, I like the fact that they got rid of the "Nuke" killstreak and nerfed pro-pipes, and well, that's about it.

I'm more of a competitive gamer as opposed to someone who just plays to have fun. Having said that, I think Black Ops is a lot more competitively balanced and for that reason alone I like it more.

The fact is, MW2 is probably the most 'noob-friendly' game of the last decade at least. Not to say it wasn't fun, but it was a game where virtually anyone could have picked it up and had a good match right off the bat, IMO.

You're right about the zombies, but for as long as the BO version on PS3 keeps lagging and freezing, I'll have to go with MW2.

Regarding "competitive balance", almost all forms of organized competitive leagues have rules. If you want to play competitively then you need to be part of some form of competitive community, which would mean you would all be following the rules to allow for an even playing field.

Better weapons and setups will always exist. They are well defined in MW2, but people are still figuring that out in Black Ops.

Weapons gay, Black Ops weapons are balanced and there is a good variety of weapons that players use, instead of just an ACR, UMP, and an intervention.

Perks gayer, and the good ones they kept.

Attachments were fine but they are better in Black Ops.

Shotguns were well OP in mw2.

Graphics are better in Black Ops in my opinion, simple things make a big difference.

Time period is boring, nothing exciting.

Maps were good in MW2, thats something I agree about but I like the
interactive maps in Black Ops.
