These characters allow you to use the ps3 buttons in Say commands on 1.12, and any other patch. Might work with xbox as well...

The reason for the link, is because these characters do not show up on nextgenupdate. They appear blank. You can only see them in a textfile no problem. No virus scan needed because the file is ~300 bytes...

I'm guessing you have a mac. I can only see it on my PC.
