(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Well i have a online 3.66 and just got my hands on a 3.50 PHAT, i installed CFW 3.55 on it, the problem is, what do i do next? i herd something about data transferring and all, but the problem is, will i be able to put on a Patch, if this ps3 has actually for one never been online and two has never played Mw2 on it? Ive put 1.11 patches on the ps3 before but thats when i could locate the specific BLES- form the folders, will i not be able to do it in this case?

Also is there anything else i need to do if i end up putting a 1.12 on my CFW?

ok instructions:
1. put mw2 in the new ps3 you got
2. download the patch
3. open up ftp
4. open up FileZilla
5. put the ip shown on the ps3 into the connect box on filezilla
6. press connect.
7. go into HDD-0 or something like that.
8. go down till you find Bles-00683 (that would be mine)
9. go into usdr(what ever it's called)
10. change the patch with the one you want.
11. if you do not know what BLES you are copy your modern warfare 2 save game and the bles on that is the same as the patch.
12. Now data transfer your stuff.

but just wondering is there an alternative to using FTP/Filezilla, could i just use Comgeines Files Manager? or will that not work?

yes that would work but i don't know how to use it. all it did for me was lag my ps3 and freeze so i just used ftp and that was the easiest way
