First want to say Campbell04 was the original founder of this months back, ITheFallenI then figgured spaces was then possible using this method,
So FULL credits to them for thier findings, I was shown it was possible and figgured it out not long after, so here goes,

So in order to infect people using a patch you guys would use up a seperate cfg like this...

Well thats not actually needed, you CAN indeed put infections into wherever you want inside a patch, like this

so what you would do to achieve this is VERY similar to the way spaces are done...

set the option inside your patch as normal, but instead of executing it, just call it,

    EG: 

set menuoption1 vstr Infection1;

set Infection1 "ui_gametype ^2Infected;set ui_mapname \""mp_terminal;THEN WHATEVER INFECTION YOU WANT HERE "\""


and here is one of my infections i have inside my patch.. :

in a way this is a good thing right because then you can have more infections in your patch instead of having like 7-13 or something like that. but in a way it is bad also. Thanks for the post

the only limit to how many is the size of the cfg... but then you can make a full cfg to become entirely all infections...

thats crazy, if i knew how to do that i would edit the patch im using now so i could have more infections but im not that into patch making yet so ima just keep the 10 i have :P

Is the length of the infections still limited? I´m not sure but i think it still is. This would be the only positive thing of this...

does this mean you could make like an unlock all infection since you can have infinite infections but do it bit by bit

It shouldn't make a difference really, so what if people get a few more infections. People need to move on from MW2; it was good while it lasted, but you gotta stop being nostalgic about it. There's so many better games that have modelling/scripting support which people pay no attention to
