I have seen threads where you use 'PS3 Proxy' to block the SSL connection from the Patch server. I guess it works but it wont be as efficient as my method. My method still uses a proxy, but it does things diffrently creating a simpler and easyer process. This should be able to block patches for ALL games. But i created it around Modern Warfare 2.

Why Release?
This tool was a request from one of my other threads. So i decided to make it.

What is this?
What ever you want it to be :cool:.

How To Use
1. Enter your PS3's Network settings, Leave EVERYTHING appart from the option where it ask's for a Proxy Server. Press X on 'Use Proxy' and enter the IP my program shows and the port. (You can change the port)
2. Click [START] on my program.
3. You should be at the point where your PS3 wants you to Test the Connection. Do It! The Test should be successful.
4. Delete the patch you want to block, [Game Data] (e.g: Modern Warfare 1.07)
5. Load up the game and you shouldn't be asked to update.

Open up CMD, type in 'ipconfig' without the quotes (as seen above).
In the screenshot i have put a red rectangle around an IP '192.168.0.13'. On your screen it will be diffrent. So instead of using the IP my program tells you, Use the IP YOU SEE in CMD after typing in 'ipconfig'. Also, try changing the port in the program and use that port in the PS3 proxy settings too.

If you get signed-out just sign back in.

Unkn0wn, i downloaded the file from that website, after i dwnloaded it, i opened it using win, then the only file in there was DELETE_ME_NOW, is that the right file?

can anyone solve this problem.

I've done the prestige hack a few times but now and again when i try to load MW2 with the patchblocker, i get signed out straight away. It keeps doing this when i'm on the game

coz i have 20mb virgin and wireless so its like 500kb - 1mb my connection

please tell me ur connection and how often it signs u off e.g 30mins, 1 hr ???

because my mate has haked internet 50mb and he uses normal ps3 proxy and gets signed out like every 30 mins so im just wondering if its worth me using if i keep getting signed out :(

i have a problem when i use this it doesnt sign in at all i am using windows vista and when i press start on the patch blocker and i put in the the ip adress correctly and everything then when i try and sign in it just doesnt sign in at all

hey, ive tried this many times and it works each time for this alternate way to do the 10th prestige hack. but i know you can do it from 1- 10th prestige or what ever pretige you want but i was wondering if you could de prestige yourself? because i didnt get modern warfare 2 til christmas, and i left my psn info on my friends ps3 and he 10th prestiged me without me knowing it.. so is there a way i can delevel myself?
