(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Well, in terms of the newest game of the Call of Duty series, Modern Warfare 3, it not only has dominated previous sales records, it has also set records for online play which may be undefeatable. Xbox Live and the Playstation Network are receiving ridiculous amounts of people attempting to login and catch up with their friends to engage in battle amongst other online players. However, with such a high profile game, cheating is to be expected.

No matter how many security measures you take, the rise of technology and the knowledge of society will eventually find cracks in the system. Call of Duty is no exception, with more than 1600 gamers being caught and banned for various reasons including cheating and hacking.

The man 402 himself (Robert Bowling) took to the media to make a statement to cheaters and hackers, saying, "Any attempt to cheat, hack, or glitch in [Modern Warfare 3] will not be tolerated."

420 continues to support players in reporting cheaters and those who are make the game less enjoyable.

Infinity Ward is doing its best to stay up to date with some of the latest glitches and exploits within the game, hoping to patch them prior to any ban being dealt out. It has said that numerous "hot fixes" are already in the making ensure the security glitches and loopholes are fixed

I hope they follow in the same steps of Treyarch in terms of exploiting. Black Ops was near enough impossible to hack or glitch.

Agreed. I also enjoyed the removal of tactical insertions from FFA. But, Infinity Ward has yet to remove it. I do not believe they will, so boosters will definitely be a big part of MW3.

'Attempt to glitch' fku, its the people who attempt it that find the glitches you left there.
There the ones who find them so you can patch them, we dont want them to be there just as much as you dont want them there

Agreed. Really gamers are doing the developers a favor by finding them. Its just the ones who use them to ruin the game that are the problem.

Yeah, its should be common sense really from IW. If they dont want glitching or boosting then allowing Tactical Insertsion in FFA is a no-brainer, hopefully they do remove it.

Honestly if they cared that much about it they would fix it as you stated. I personally have no problem with boosters as long as it doesnt ruin my game and as long as they don't unrightfully take the spot of someone on the scoreboard who deserves it. However, the likelyhood it wont affect these things are minimal. From here IW faces an uphill battle.

I said the same thing earlier on another thread, im not bothered at all about boosting until im killed by somebody whos 10th with a game changing attachment that was clearly not earned legit. IW should of fixed these things in the first place, such as the PS3 lag issues. 75% of these issues are caused by porting the game over to PS3 from Xbox, they need to get a game made seperatley for every console.
