I personally think they could be done better, and since the game is still buggy, you miss a lot of bashing with it and end up getting knifed, you also can get shot in through your shoes while ducking.

The new element of adding cracks to the shield also puts people who use riot shields at a disadvantage.

I was kinda hoping that they would let you shoot from the side of a riot shield, but I think it would be op in someway...

But I think when the knives are fixed (if it does get fixed) riot shield would be more powerful, but as of right now they are just used as a support, and barely get a positive KD or a 2KD depending on your team.

I find this combination best imo:

Secondary: Any duals
Tactical: C4
Perk 1: Sleight of hand pro
Perk 2: Hard line pro
Perk 3: Steady aim
Support package.

Any other good ideas?

I think Riot Shield isn't something people seriously use unless they want to have "fun" or suck.

The Riot Shield is fine as is. It's useful to help your team clear alleys and cap flags. Or you'll be the Noob going 5-15 every game getting stuck by Semtex and losing every TDM for your team.

i think the riot shield is for people who blow at the game.

riot shield/shotguns are getting buffed along with other balance issues, once the game itself is fixed.
402 said that about 3 days after release + the game is not fixed by long shot.

I use the riot shield when I'm board and want to try for the Titles. really if I'm using it i just like to see how the enemies do. its always different its really funny.

I thought riot shields were only for trolling...

I only use them in S & D with a throwing knife and have fun, which I don't very often in this game. _-_

They could be a bit more "powerful" in some way in my opinion(not the damage when hitting with it, but so a riot shield user doesn't get killed as easy as they do now), but I think they're a fun aspect of multiplayer and glad they added them again.

I see a ton of them in Team Defender

Riot shields you normally see a bit of in domination an that's either cause one team has loads of air support or to try an capture the flag, either way they suck, just like juggernauts do
