I feel IW has kept the other leaderboards fairly clean but they haven't done anything for those boosting wins. The front page has 13/15 boosters and the second page has 7/15 boosters. Anyone else think this is insane?

Yeah, it is but until they get reset not much we can do about it :/

I'm just curious as to what IW is doing. They say they monitor the leaderboards to look for boosters/hackers/etc. It only takes a regular person a mere 30 secs on these guys profile on COD Elite to tell they are boosting. What is taking IW so long?

This is fairly odd, maybe they're waiting to deploy a major reset wave.
However it all depends on how many people are up there, that're obvious of boosting?

A lot of them have been up there for months. I'd say 20 out of the top 30 with more boosters on the way to the front and second page is an absurd amount. It looks pretty obvious if you look at their Cod Elite pages, oh hey everyone in the game died to their own c4 in infected at the beginning of the game, oh everyone died to their own claymores at the beginning of the game,for 100s of games in a row.

Banning boosters isn't IW's top priority as you can tell from MW2. They will ban boosters from time to time (usually those who have broken the offence more than once or have taken boosting to extreme measurements) but no promises to banning a "wave" of them.

Usually boosting is only a 3 day ban and a reset for a first offence. Treyarch was ban-happy with Black Ops and many people wern't happy with that. Maybe IW doesn't want to take the same path?

I would agree with you guys except, IW has show signs of banning people who boost on Kills Leaderboards.It seems like they have policed and kept them pretty much legit. There were ban waves where they banned all the big time boosters who boosted kills.



I don't think that banning the biggest boosters on the game would make them ban-happy.

Yes you are correct. I regard Treyarch as more proactive when it comes to banning, hence why I made the post.

Wins boosters don't get banned/reset because their score per minute never reachs the limit ect.. All they do is get in lobbies full of diers and plant the bomb in sabotage.

I agree they should see they boosted seeing their win streaks or better yet see that their lobby has 6 players constantly jumping because of the turbo controllers set to press X to choose the classes when the games starts.. That is the only reason they don't ban wins boosters they are the only one that don't do it for the XP or to level up but for the wins.. IMO that is still boosting .
