Blast Shield

It needs to be buffed. I'm not even kidding. I didn't go on CoD for like 2 months, and I went on today, and put on Blast Shield. Upon walking in front of a claymore, I died.

If Blast Shield can't protect you from one claymore explosion, what can it do?

But yeah, Blast Shield has always been pretty weak. It should really reduce explosive damage by 75% especially with 20 kill streaks in the air.

When i heard what Blast Shield Pro was gonna do before MW3 came out, I thought it was gonna be an overpowered perk. It should have been an exact copy of Flack Jacket & Tactical Mask Pro.
Little Did I know the perk is just as useless as the Blast Shield Equipment on MW2

Yeah it is pretty useless It saves me once or twice, but once or twice isn't good enough.

Flack Jacket > Blast Shield.

Remember that grenades deal much less damage in MW3 than in Black Ops

I think it is only really useful against grenades or semtex, that may not be that close to you otherwise I think it might be pointless having grenades and all other explosives etc if there was a perk that could withstand them all. Then people would complain about the grenades needing a buff, there is no pleasing all the people all of the time.

Blast shield was pointless in mw2 and is just as crappy in mw3. Black Ops did an awsome job with flak Jacket. I hated nothing more than walking around a corner and dying instantly from those pesky ol Claymores.

Honestly, the way I see it, it should at least protect you from claymores.

That way, I won't need Sitrep, and I can use Dead Silence with blast shield in SnD.
