(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Well I was thinking the other day about how different people would play if they made the game like this:

"If you reload with bullets still in your mag you lose those bullets"

Simple enough.
It stops people from reloading after every kill and would make you tactically use your ammo.

I think it would have been an interesting concept, obviously it makes it more realistic.
Do you lose your remainin bullets reloading if you think there multiple enemies or do you take the risk and use the remainder of your mag?

Would you like to have seen something like this happen in the call of duty series?

I never thought of this and it would be cool to have it this way ! I wish they made new things more realistic such as this ! Good idea !

I've seen a horror game (Cry of Fear), which is a Half-Life 1 mod and it uses this feature. Really makes you watch your ammo and tactically use it. Whether to reload and lose some bullets but not worry about reloading during combat, or, use the remaining bullets with chance of getting hurt in combat from the reload mechanic. It's very interesting.

It's an interesting idea, but sometimes, it's the unrealistic things that make a game fun. I think that this could be implemented into hardcore modes instead of core modes. It's not a bad idea to make a whole new playlist with this either, to reduce haters.

Like A.....
Everyone would use scavenger, and just re load and run over the dead guy and get the pack, so you dont lose out if you use scavenger.

In Flames Much?

Question is what would it do to the game ?
Make it more frustrating to the average player or add another element into the game.
It a interesting gameplay idea......thing is alot of other shooters don't do it you have to ask the question why is that.
Is it because some other shooters tried it and it never worked ? or because the current system is standard because it the best or is it because it would not fit into the game ?

We all know how regen health has become standard now name me a shooter which still uses health packs. None Winky Winky
Almost all shooters now have a form of regen health.

In COD it would not work due to how fast you die. Along with how accurate the guns are. COD at the end of the day is a arcade shooter that is based on who sees who first.
Tone down how accurate the guns are along with the ttk it (may worth) playing around with it. But the problem is when you do that you no longer have COD.

Adding it to hardcore without changing the other elements would be a silly move. You can see the effects of what happens when you tone down health but leave all other elements the same.
Go into any HC game on MW3 and see just how deadly a RPG is compared to normal.

Big no without playing with some other elements Smile

Well it is an interesting idea but this falls into the, "None of my Business" category.

Meaning, what actual affect does someone reloading after every kill have on me at all? Honestly the fact that when you pick a gun up, you have to cock it back is realistic and can be annoying.

I understand the realism aspect but the most hated, overused cliche element to Call of Duty is "Camping" and camping is actually realistic. Hell having to actually find your enemy whether he is camping or not is realistic. Which I suppose is why Hardcore players like HC because it's at least as close to realism as the game is gonna get.

There is good realism, bad realism and indifferent realism.

I'm not saying this idea purely to make it more realistic, I'm saying it because I think it would be interesting to have seen in the game, and how it would change the way some people would play / think.

I really would like to see that in a game, some realism like that would be awesome.

Along with other things such as explosive damage, losing limbs, close quarter combat, things along those lines.

Would be good to see something like that, but then Scavenger would just counter the change as they will just pick that ammo back up, But if a CoD had 0 Perks and this idea I think it would lose a lot of players that the game has
