Just load up the mode, you'll get the error don't worry, just find the game mode under your Recent Modes, make the game lag, go into a face-off 1v1 and get host.

To all the dumbasses:
1. It was patched
2. You could get it online with a lagswitch
3. This is the method AFTER the patch meaning now you can still get it online
