I heard you just go to the clan page and hit cancel, but what if it only says Apply Now? Does that mean they're cancelled? I don't want to get booted out of this clan to join another because that's what happens when other clans accept your application. Thanks...

I think once you join a clan all of your applications to join clans cancel. You probably don't have to worry about being booted from your clan.
