Why is the game lobby always empty when you want to play Der Riese when your friends are offline. I once waited like 30 mins but still no one came in the Der Riese game lobby. I can only play with friends, if they are online. It is once in a blue moon that I will find 1 or 2 players there.

This happens on the Der Riese map only. The other thing I noticed is that if I invite a friend when I am in the Der Riese lobby, more players will instantly join in within a few seconds (not invites).

Just FYI, I switched from XBOX to PS3 a couple of months ago. All this time, I thought I made a good choice, but now this is starting to annoy me. Have any of you people exprerienced this?

i use to have this problem on ps3 idk what it is but i do know i may be ur connection u might also wanna try clicking priviate match back out then repeat process till about 4 or 5 times then it might work

its probably your connection, it can be hard for me to join an online game sometimes if if downloading a load of stuff or whatever

I'm not really sure about the connection, almost everytime I am playin with friends, i am the host...this means my connection is good right?

its prob ur connection but its mostly ps3s fault the ps3 has connection issues like i have comcast very fast internet however when i try to join ppls party online i can hardly ever connect to them i think its just ps3

its take me like 5mins to find players when i want to play with random people...

yeah i tried to play der riese yesterday....10 minutes of repeatedly searching and no luck...then i tried verrukt and found a game first try?

I just thought of it like this. Lets say there are 5243 ppl on Der Riese. Who knows how many people are in mid game when you try to find a match. But if you take 5243 and divide it by 4 people in each room you only have 3 people left over trying to find a match. And even if people are not mid game that doesnt mean that there isnt a bunch of lobby's full of 4 people waiting to play. Just a thought. could be totally wrong.
