Nobody knows if the news is real or not, but we knows that some rumors say that the Lizard Squad, responsable for the attack to PSN, XBOX LIVE and Tor Network, is working on a PS4 Jailbreak!
According to Kdramastars, during the DDoS attack to PSN in Christmas holidays, Cyberland confirmed that the Lizard Squad was able to wploit a security vulnerability in the latest version of the firmware (2.03) running on the PS4 console.
The allerged vulnerability could be exploited by hackers to run their arbitrary code.
Some rumors say that a member of the Lizard Squad post the Jailbreak method that allegedly the user to play pirated games and go online without need for PS Plus on the site You must login or register to view this content..
A side effect is that the user can play cracked DLC content for specific game and update their games via PSN.
Cyberland also said that the hacker "Reckz0r" send the code for Jailbreaking the PS4 to Lizard Squad.
In 2013 Reckz0r pubblished a tutorial on "How To Jailbreak A PS4 and play pirated games" using the FreeBSD distro also known as "the Orbis".
Personally...I think this is ALL FAKE and it's only some sort of PUBBLICITY to get noticed.

Considering the only thing they can do is DDOS I am going to go out on a limb and say this is far beyond anyone in that group. I don't see the reason to post this.
