Well it usually shows 6gb download because thats what you need before you can play it while it downloads in background. Just press option button on Hardline and go to Information and it shows the actual download size and progress.

Once you boot it up it will most likely continue the rest of the download the 6GB is most likely the Single player so once you boot it up it should tell you that you a certain amount of percentage to download and install the Multiplayer.
