Hey guys, i have a question. So im developing an iphone app just for fun (with close to no experience) and im using xcode 4.2. So im using the Open gl es template... i made the main menu as a normal view controller (and other sub menus) but what about the actual game? Do i use the GLKit view controller or just another normal view controller and what do i do with it? Any help would mean alot and +rep. Thanks guyss

to your question you actually have to code the game as far as im concerned. but i dont think you should listen to me because im not qualified, just thought i should give my idea.

I would also recommend checking out a middleware solution such as Unity or Marmalade which can serve as a core codebase and 2D/3D engine from which one then compiles down to different platforms. Saves a heck of a lot of time and also exposes your game to the widest audience with minimal extra effort/refactoring/recoding. My personal recommendation goes to Unity.
Experience? I used Unity to build an iOS augmented reality Driver: San Francisco mini-game for Ubisoft and Reflections:

I'm going to say this, before you decide to try and code a game, you should learn how to code first. It will help you out a lot, it will take time to reach a level where you can create novice games but rushing into something like so, it isn't the smartest thing to do.
