First off it would be nice if Apple let people use their preferred IDE. Sadly they don't. They want people to use XCode which is only available on OS X. On top of all that you have to pay $100 a year to become an iOS Developer in their eyes. This is how Apple gets people hook, line, and sinker.
Honestly it would be more economically feasible and easier to develop Android apps.
