(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I didnt know where to post this so ill just post it here. Im just wondering if anyone has been sued for downloading Visual Studio 2010 for free. I want to download it but im worried because it actually costs over 3,000.

It is illegal indeed, since it is considered warez, it is considered a 'online crime' as well, so yeah, i think you can be sued for downloading it for free.
Warez is often a form of copyright infringement punishable as either a civil wrong or a crime.

Has anyone been sued? No, you would rarely if ever hear about something like that. It's not something like the MPAA or the RIAA., Would it be possible? Yea it could be but highly unlikely.

There's better alternatives anyways. Microsoft offers free versions of their software.

I know its illegal but i wanna know if microsoft actually initiates punishment for Visual Studio 2010
