It Isnt battery

Ok, so your computer boots without the battery in, but just the cord? Then it is the battery as I have run into this before. The battery is just dead. Buying a new one will cost about $50 i believe.

Try connecting it to another monitor then start it up. If it works on the other monitor than your computer's monitor is messed up. If not than either the motherboard or videocard is damaged, in which case you should get a technician to see it.

Hope I helped Smile

i had the same problem. i started tearing it apart to rape it, and i though, "why dont i try to fix it" and i tried and i did.

it could be a few things.
1. the mother board (just get a new computer if this is the problem)
2. plug in the battery charger and take the battery out. when the charger is plugged in, wiggle it with some force and it the charging light flickers, you have to sotter the power jack again. (that means taking the mother board out and EVERYTHING ELSE) its what i did.
3. a loose chip. i think its you graphics card or something but it could over heated and moved out of place. get it out and use a hair drier to reheat it and move it back into place. be careful when doing this, too much heat and its ruined, not enough and it wont move.

good luck!:black:

Try pressing like ALT f10 or somthing to see any display if it displays ALT F10 will let you format ur Laptop so any corrupted files are gone. But it is pprobably a hardware issue all else fails open it up and check if anything has burn marks or has popped or anything :y: Good luck Smile
