Default How do i get this?

Hello, I a novice with computers and i need some help from some of you more advanced people out there. I would like to get one of these for my computer so i can access my applications quicker and faster . I'm not sure what it is called (as I said not very good with computers) and I'm not sure whether this comes with a certain type of computer or if it is something you can download. Any help or links to a download of this application will certainly be of use. Thanks

    -Kitty.

The bar on the bottom of the screen? It's a taskbar and only comes on Windows 7, mac computers have a similar setup too.

It's on pretty much all OS's, including Linux.

But, in short, if you buy an version of PC with Windows or Mac, you'll have one of those built into the programming.

You probably have your task bar hidden this might help:

Click the bottom of your screen to view the hidden taskbar. Right-click a blank section of the taskbar, then click "Properties" from the pop-up menu. The "Taskbar and Start Menu Properties" window will be displayed.

Uncheck the "Auto Hide" check box located under the "Taskbar Properties" tab by clicking with your mouse once. Click "Apply" to reflect the changes.

Click "OK" to close the window.

I think hes talking about 'pinned' applications. If thats the case, open the application you want to pin and when its open, just right click on it and click on "Pin to taskbar". I moved from Windows to MAC a while back so those instructions might be off.

If you dont get my instructions, go here for Microsoft's instructions.
