Then when I downgraded to 3.6 it still freezes but not a lot. Like when it freezes I have no choice to hit the light switch without turning it off properly. It only frozed twice without the firefox on the past 20 times it froze in 3 days. Right now I'm on 3.6 (Freezes like every hour or so). I wish I could use firefox 18.0 without it freezing.

Google chrome kept freezing on me so I went to the folder in windows where the settings are stored and deleted them. I started chrome and all the settings were back to default and it no longer freezes or crashes. BTW you might need to show hidden folders in windows to find where firefox settings are stored.
