(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); The first update for the Windows 10 technical preview has been released today! This should update automatically so be warned about that, I went away for a few moments and came back to my computer going through the setup. It takes about 20 minutes to install (SSD). If the update does not install, simply go to PC settings and force the update.

The new build (9860) Has come rather quickly as promised, under a month. I have noticed a few things myself but there is more to look at!

If you wan't a more in-depth explanation on it and other features available in the new build, then see the link below.
Updates and features include:
Battery Saver
New notifications centre

'There are also minor tweaks such as new animations that accompany the opening of Windows. Some people suggested that this gives Windows 10 something of an OS X feel'
'significantly lower number of animation frames'

And much more here:

In Flames Much?
Monthly updates massive change for windows just hope it reduces the bloat.
1 million users right now testing the OS with 7,000 bug fixes.

Looking forward to the end product.

That's an interesting statistic, 7,000 is a lot considering it is the first month. And yes, seeing as a fair amount has changed in the first update, the end product will be something to look forward to!
