(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So i recently found about this easy to use tool to remove and disable that annoying GWX Notification icon on Windows 7 & 8 and i think it's really cool. I'll post a screenshots down below before i used it and after i used it along with a VirusTotal virus scan, download link to the Stand-alone version and the source.
