From what I've heard is that Valve redid the ELO system because after that massive VAC ban they had it messed with the ranking system. Instead of there being very few supremes and globals a lot of people obtained those ranks too easily. Which I still witness occasionally when I see really retarded SMFCs and globals who have no clue what they are doing. I want to say changes were made to reduce the number of globals and to make it hard to obtain again.

Yeah they're changed as Rath said. Tbh I like the change back to the old ways of the ranking system in ways. I just wish we would have had some warning about it, I wasn't ready for the change at all and deranked to shit.
