Should we as men even bother with women?

I'm curious to see why any pros or cons should apply solely to men and not women or vice-versa.

As for my opinion of marriage, whilst I appreciate the ideals it's not something I'm really that interested in.

Nope, marriage is a load of shit. If you must just get a civil partnership.

This is a good ass topic and im actually still wringling my head around this myself...

I mean its all a setup for the gov to take advantage of your failures as a parent, but if you succeed as a parent, then its like some sort of prestige for the family to be legally together. Even so, I dont believe its worth it, but if your woman is trustworthy, and YOLO then i say do it.

Too many factors to add in here, because your entire life can turn to shit instantly, and so can your entire fortune, dont just marry any random chick, that is very foolish and will accomplish nothing.

And with a name like "Pimp" I'm pretty skeptical on your idea of marriage in the first place lolz.

Pros:
-Being/living with the person you love
-Someone to "be there for you"
-Unlimited sex
-Family if you want it
-Added income
-Don't have to cook
-Don't have to clean
-Don't have to do dishes
-Don't have to do laundry

Cons:
-She wants a nice car
-She wants nice clothes
-She wants expensive vacations
-She wants nice purses
-Have to watch stupid women TV shows
-Have to go to stupid women movies
-Have to go to stupid women concerts
-Less time for friends
-She doesn't like sports as much as you do
-She definitely doesn't like cars as much as you do
-She doesn't like your music either
-Less "you" time
-She might not approve of things you do

I saved up for two years to buy the perfect ring for the girl I thought would say yes, only to find out she was sleeping with other guys.

So now I think of marriage and laugh.

Judging from all these responses i think we can safely assume marriage is pretty much a trap for us as men yeah?

Also that quick list above has far too many cons as it is, and unlimited sex is only limited to what she offers and what you want rofl.

And being by yourself will cause an instant argument for no reason, why the hell do you have to get yelled at for trying to get some solitude for at least a day? You need it because it will not only increase the attraction between you, but it will make you less tired of her, but because women are so goddamn needy, they will go into crazy bitch mode and try to kill your ass for leaving- or accuse you of cheating, or.. *Shot*

Some of these said pros are disputable, i don't think your going to have much sex (or want it ) after child birth (marriage usually = the need for children) . Still liked your post. Also, im trying to get around to typing my opinion :p

But on to my opinion, if we don't marry anyone our life will be useless in the end. What's the point of being 70 years old with no wife, no grand children, or any of those sorts? That's boring.
