Being a Grammar Nazi isn't necessarily an evil thing, but consistently correcting people's grammar can be seen as offensive and rude.

I think being a grammar nazi is ok when you really cannot tell what the person is saying. I hate when people correct me for writing dont instead of don't though. Your and you're should be corrected every time though, that one annoys me hahaha

Grammar "Nazi's" should be thanked publicly. When someone doesn't correct your mistake, you won't learn. When i make a mistake and someone corrects me, i get annoyed but at least i learn other than ignoring the fact that i can't punctuate or type something.

It's okay what they do, not bat at all, but when they correct me i proceed to ignore them, i'm just too lazy to correct my minor mistakes .

They're okay, say i made a mistake in this post, (probably have) and someone corrected it, there's two ways you could look at it "offending" or "helpful", it just depends on how you look at it, Some people will see it as helpful, Whereas people e.g. me, sometimes would be offended as I don't like being corrected, or being wrong.

I can't stand grammar nazis, because most of them are so hipocritical and often end up not using correct grammar, while still correcting you.

I honestly don't have a problem with them. the're just in a sense cleansing the internet from people that don't know that spellcheck exists.

It is the Internet people should be able to type what they want without anyone carrying.
