I for one thought the first episode was a little slow, but I understand the need to build character background. I will say that I did not realize how important the first offensive was that the US went on. Scary to think how different the world could be if we did not win that war.

Yeah i recorded it and watched it yesterday. I think it's a good start and will only get better throughout the series.

I wish I had HBO. It looks so cool. Hope it is as good as Band of Brothers.

Yeah who knew what a pivotal poind Guadal Canal was! The main reason I like these is you get more of an idea what it may have been like rather than just reading it. I must admit old Tom Hanks does a great job with the war shows.

i have HBO but i didnt get a chance to watch it... maybe if it goes to netflix online ill get a chance to see it but i loved band of brothers
or maybe when torrents start coming out of it ill see it.. either way i heard its pretty bad ass so ill watch it when i get a chance
