That depends on how the game itself works, that's how. For example, GTAV has lots of functions that lean more towards the CLIENT side of the game rather than server sided. The money is a part of story mode, which you can say it's client sided as well as server sided. (GTAV Online)
In FIFAS case, it seems the coins have more of it's seperate caller functions leaning towards the server side of the game. Which means it is not client sided, but rather server sided. However, if FIFA has files that are written in LUA Format and you happen to figure out that they respond in JSON, you can figure out a JSONquery to make coins work.
